Health Innovation Fund now open for applications

Category: News Published: Thursday 5 March 2026

The Tunbridge Wells Health Action Team has launched its new Health Innovation Fund, offering grants of up to £10,000 to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations working within the borough.

The fund aims to support innovative projects that improve health and wellbeing for three key age groups:

  • 11–25-year-olds such as initiatives that strengthen young people’s mental health
  • 26–40-year-olds including projects that boost social connections and wider wellbeing
  • Residents aged 55+ for example improving access to affordable community transport for wellbeing activities

To be eligible, applications must focus on at least one of the Health Action Team’s priority areas: mental health, loneliness and isolation, addictions, obesity and physical inactivity, or support for people with disabilities and older people.

The application window is open until 10 April 2026. All applications must be submitted through the Social Impact Gateway, which organisations can join for free.

VCSE organisations operating in Tunbridge Wells are encouraged to apply and to share this opportunity with local partners.
