Baby Loss Awareness Week
We understand how painful and life-changing baby loss can be, and the impact it can have. Working together with Kent and Medway Partnership Trust’s service, Thrive - perinatal trauma and loss support, we have been exploring meaningful ways to honour these precious lives.
If you have been affected by baby loss personally, at any stage of gestation, years ago or recently, we would like to invite you to visit our designated area at Dunorlan summer house, and Tunbridge Wells memorial garden, and either attach your own ribbon or write your name on the blank hearts/ribbons we have left.
We want to assure you that every baby remembered during Baby Loss Awareness Week will be honoured with care and dignity. No baby will be alone and each will be held in memory, surrounded by others, and looked after as part of a shared space of compassion.
This was inspired by another mum who suffered her own baby loss. Read her story on the BBC website.
If you would like further support for you or someone you know who has experienced loss, please speak to a health care provider and ask about Thrive.
